  • Join Our Student Campus Ministry Team for the Winter Semester!

    Event Date:
    Wednesday, January 7, 2015 - 9:19pm

If you are a Catholic student between 18 and 30 who is starting or continuing your post-secondary education anywhere in the GTA in January, Newman can be a home for you...literally!

We are looking for outgoing students who desire to share their Catholic faith with others, live in community, and grow in holiness. Student Campus Ministers are an integral part of our mission to bring Christ to the U of T St. George Campus, and they help fulfill Cardinal Collins' request for all parishes in our Archdiocese: minister to the gathered, and reach out to the scattered.

Team members commit to 12-15 hours of ministry per week, including community activities, participation in Sunday liturgy, and evangelization activities on campus. Our residency fees are $900 per month, and include all room and board, and laundry. There may be bursaries available to assist with residency fees, so don't let money be the only thing that would stop you from applying: if you feel called to help us in our mission, we want to hear from you. You'll gain even more than you give!

Check out this information, and email Erin today for more information. Come and join us in bringing Christ to campus!
